En Capital is a Singapore headquartered renewable energy, e-Mobility and Warehousing development and investment holding company with presence in Southeast Asia, India and Australia.

En Capital, established in 2009, by its founder, Surender Singh with over 20-year career in banking and power generation industries. En Capital together with its partners have attracted industry leading teams and created a portfolio of project investments in multi-technology renewable energy, e-Mobility, warehousing and agri-markets businesses.

En Capital aims at long term value creation for its shareholders and partners through business development and friendly acquisitions working with industry leading management teams.

In 2010 En Capital won an international competitive bid for the management of InfraCo Asia and setup a dedicated management company which was injected into Nexif Energy founded in 2011 by En Capital and Acuity.

Nexif Energy, as manager of InfraCo Asia until 2015, developed a portfolio of renewable energy projects across South & Southeast Asia and established itself as a leading multilateral backed private infrastructure project developer in Asia

En Capital has consistently delivered results for its partners and investors since its inception. In 2010 En Capital won an international competitive bid for the management of InfraCo Asia and setup a dedicated management company which was injected into Nexif Energy founded in 2011 by En Capital and Acuity.

Nexif Energy, as manager of InfraCo Asia until 2015, developed a portfolio of renewable energy projects across South & Southeast Asia and established itself as a leading multilateral backed private infrastructure project developer in Asia

In 2016, Nexif Energy partnered with Denham Capital, a leading US based energy transition and natural resource private equity fund, and founded a renewable energy focused joint venture. In 2022 Denham exited the Nexif Energy JV companies at an enterprise value of over one billion US Dollars and industry leading financial returns.

Following the Denham exit, in December 2022, Nexif Energy partnered with RATCH Group of Thailand to establish Nexif Ratch Energy to complete and grow Nexif Energy’s renewable energy project pipeline.

En Capital's NEWENRG platform through Nexif Energy’s JV with Ratch, owns a portfolio of wind, hydro, solar and BESS projects of about 3.2 GW in operation, construction and various stages of development and an additional about 750 MW of power projects being managed under an asset management agreement. NEWENRG through Indus Green and NRS Green is rolling out e-Mobility services in India and actively working with Thailand Post Distribution Company (THPD), for developing and EV based mobility as service business comprising managed EV fleet, charging stations integrating solar generation with grid energy supply.

Surender Singh

FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN, EN CAPITAL

Surender Singh is founder & Chairman of En Capital and several of it portfolio companies including Nexif Energy and Nexif Ratch Energy. He also serves as an independent director on the board of NABVENTURE, private equity fund manager of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. Prior to founding En Capital in 2009 he had over 20 years’ experience in infrastructure development, financing and restructuring and banking at The AES Corporation, Merrill Lynch and Industrial Development Bank of India. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad and Bachelor of Science from Kurukhsetra University in India. He also attended the senior management program at Darden School, University of Virginia, USA.

Matthew Bartley

Founder & Managing Director, Acuity, Nexif Energy

Matthew Bartley has over 25 years’ experience in the development, financing, construction, acquisition and sale of infrastructure projects. In 2011, Mr Bartley established Acuity through which he co-founded Nexif Energy. Previously Mr Bartley was with global power company, AES Corporation, from 1997 to 2011. Prior to AES, he worked at Australian petroleum company Santos Ltd. and the Australian gas utility Allgas Energy. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the Queensland University of Technology and graduated with honours in 1988. He also attended the senior management program at Darden School, University of Virginia, USA.

Cyril Disssescou​

CEO, Nexif Ratch Energy

Before joining Nexif Ratch Energy, Cyril served as a Managing Director with BNP Paribas, a leading European bank with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region. In his role within the Low Carbon Transition Group (LCTG), Cyril played a key role in originating and executing strategic M&A and capital raising transactions in the renewables, energy infrastructure, and transition metals sectors across Asia Pacific. With over 20 years of experience as an investment banker, including 15 years based in Singapore, Cyril Dissescou bring a wealth of expertise in the energy and natural resources sectors. He has advised international and local energy companies, infrastructure and private equity funds, Asian state-owned enterprises, utilities, and local conglomerates on numerous strategic transactions. Cyril holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (France) and a Master’s Degree in Economy and Finance from Ecole de Ponts ParisTech (France).

Eugene Seow

CFO, Nexif Ratch Energy

Eugene is the Chief Financial Officer of Nexif Ratch Energy since December 2022.

Prior to his appointment with Nexif Ratch Energy, Eugene was the Chief Financial Officer of Nexif Energy, and had been CFO/Head of Finance in various private and public listed companies in People’s Republic of China and Singapore, spanning a range of industries including manufacturing, construction and engineering etc.

Eugene holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Jayant Yadav

Founder & CEO, E-Mobility

Jayant has 14 years of experience with over 12 years working in development, financing, acquisition and sale of infrastructure assets primarily in Asia with extensive experience in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Previously, Jayant has worked with Nexif in their South Asia Investment team focused on M&A activities, contracts and negotiations and fund raising activities. Jayant completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Planning & Entrepreneurship from The Indian Institute of Planning & Management, New Delhi and Bachelor of Science (Hons.)  from University of Delhi.

Chetan Yadav

Manager Admin and Accounts, Warehousing and Agri-Markets

Chetan Yadav is responsible for accounting and administrative functions, including accounting, taxation, budgeting and reporting.

He has 3.5+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting and administrative work since February 2022.

From August 2018 to December 2019, Chetan was associated as Finance  & Administration Delivery with IBM India Pvt. Ltd., a fortune 500 company, the tech giant is also well-known for its consulting services. In this role, Chetan was tasked with management of accounts receivables profile for a US based client. In 2021Chetan was also associated with Genpact India Pvt. Ltd. as a Process Associate in the accounts receivables profile for North and South American Clients from Mexico, Columbia and Chile.

Chetan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from IGNOU

PDCOR Limited is a leading project development company based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a joint venture of Government of Rajasthan (GoR) and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited (IL&FS) to facilitate private sector investment in the infrastructure sector. PDCOR commenced its operations in May 1998. PDCOR provides institutional support to the Government in successfully structuring and implementing infrastructure projects on a public-private partnership format. It also undertakes project development and management services for private sector and the government.
